Acne in infants between the ages of 1 and 16 months can be treated with topical tretinoin, benzoyl peroxide, as well as topical and oral erythromycin antibiotics. For more serious cases, oral isotretinoin (brand name Accutane) can be used at the dosage of 0.2mg to 1.5 mg isotretinoin / kg of body weight/ day for a period of 5 to 14 months.
