Title: A systematic review of the evidence for “myths and misconceptions” in acne management: diet, face-washing and sunlight

The authors conducted a review of medical literature to disprove the layman’s perceptions that diet, hygiene and sunlight exposure cause acne. They found that there is surprisingly little evidence to prove or disprove such “myths or misconceptions”! And what evidence there is actually were from studies with technical limitations.
