The authors enrolled 87 patients with nodulocystic acne and 50
healthy subjects in this test of eye and vision health. They found
that acne patients had 3 times higher incidence of eye health
complaint than healthy subjects, and suggest that patients suffering
from nodulocystic acne should see an eye doctor in addition to
dermatologists.
