Topical Retinoids for Inflammatory Acne

Five authors independently rated the effectiveness of the following
retinoids:
- Tazarotene 0.1% gel
- Adapalene 0.1% gel
- Tretinoin 0.1% microsponge
- Tetinoin 0.025% gel
- Tazarotene 0.1% crème
in the treatment of acne of 577 patients. They found that acne
was improved with all 4 retinoids, with tazarotene being the most
effective, followed by, adapalene, tretinoin microsponge, and
lastly tretinoin gel.
